AS1851-2012 Compliance Fire Tank Inspection
Regular maintenance of fire protection systems is part of every building owner’s responsibility to ensure the adequate protection of property and life with inspections and maintenance conducted under AS1851-2005 or AS1851-2012 (depending on the age of your tank and which State or Territory you are in).
Compliance with the maintenance requirements of AS1851-2012 is an obligation under various State Acts and Regulations around Australia.
Without regular inspections as required by AS1851-2012 can you guarantee:
- You are insured if your fire tanks fail in a fire event?
- Your fire water storage tanks are compliant to the latest applicable AS1851 standards?
- You have fulfilled your duty of care and can defend your actions if a system failure occurs during a fire event?
- You have a record of compliance performed by a competent person against the standard?
Engaging The Tank Inspectors to conduct a fire water storage tank inspection will ensure your fire assets are well maintained and will work to protect property and life when you need them to.
